Dentures in Terrell, TX

A denture should fit your mouth, your face, and your life — not just your gums. Ours are designed and fitted by a prosthodontist, the dental specialty that trains specifically in dentures.

  • Delta, Cigna & MetLife

Here's something most people don't know: there is an entire dental specialty devoted to replacing teeth — prosthodontics — and dentures are one of its core disciplines. The difference between a denture that disappears into your life and one you fight with daily comes down to design.

Your denture options

Full dentures

A complete arch of teeth, upper or lower, crafted to fit your gums and complement your face.

Partial dentures

When healthy natural teeth remain, a partial fills the gaps and clasps discreetly to your own teeth.

Immediate dentures

When extractions are planned, an immediate denture can be made in advance so you leave your extraction visit with teeth in place while you heal.

Implant-supported dentures

A few dental implants can anchor a denture so it snaps securely in place. If a loose denture is why you're here, this page is for you.

No pressure toward the more expensive option — a well-made conventional denture is the right answer for many patients, and if that's true for you, that's what we'll tell you.

Relines, repairs, and honest second opinions

Gums change shape over the years, which is why old dentures loosen — often a reline or a remake solves what adhesive can't. If your denture is loose, cracked, or just never felt right, bring it in. You'll get the honest option, not the expensive one by default.

Denture questions we hear most

How long does it take to get used to a new denture?

Usually a few weeks. Speaking and eating feel different at first — that's adaptation, not a fitting problem — though genuine sore spots are exactly what your follow-up adjustment visits are for.

How long do dentures last?

The denture itself often serves five to ten years, but your gums change beneath it — so most dentures need a reline along the way to stay fitting well.

My lower denture won't stay put no matter what. Is that normal?

It's the most common denture complaint there is — lower dentures have less to hold onto. A reline sometimes helps; two to four implants usually solve it outright. See implant-supported dentures.

Does insurance cover dentures?

Often partially, yes — denture coverage is one of the more common benefits. We'll check your Delta Dental, Cigna, or MetLife plan precisely before treatment.

A denture you don't have to think about

Whether it's your first denture or a replacement for one that's never been right — start with an honest consultation and a written plan.

We'll get back to you — usually the same day, and always within two business days.
